Don't try this at home. It could be fun.

Everyone has mirrors in their home, but few of us think to use them in our photography. Yet, mirrors can give us some great effects without having to get too fancy or convoluted.

There are many photographic applications where we can and do use mirrors - the bride in the dresser mirror picture, the close-up reflection, the mirror photo that shows and reflects one side of a face as if it were a perfectly symmetrical full face, and so on. This wacky tip presents a challenge to you as a photographer to use a mirror or more than one mirror to achieve a picture that is different and interesting.

Feel let down? Thinking this tip isn't so wacky? Maybe not. But, have a look at the picture. It's one of a zillion ways in which mirrors can be used to achieve a different, fun or bizarre look in your pictures.

If you shoot a wacky mirror picture, or one that is simply a good picture that incorprates a mirror in the image, be sure to share it with us.

We will give you credit for the image when we put it up for everyone to see. Tell us of any special technique employed, and well be sure to pass it on as a hot tip from you.
