A perfect day for ballooning, captured on film by Claude Brown.
|
These colorful pictures of hot air balloons (left and below) were photographed by Claude Brown of Anderson, South Carolina using a Canon Rebel G camera fitted with a Canon EF 75-300mm lens. They were shot at a local hot air balloon event that is held each year in Anderson, called "Freedom Weekend Aloft".
"I believe they were taken with Fuji film - 200 ISO," says Claude. "I use different film all the time, so it is hard to remember. I took like four or five rolls."
Claude, who describes himself as "an old country boy," is in fact a prolific, quality photographer who credits his camera abilities to his graphic arts education and to a great deal of self-learning from both books and experience. He is a big fan of our book "Guide to Posing the Female Model," and has shown us many fine examples of the excellent photographs he has taken using it.
