Viewer Jenny Liang sent us this image, which she entitled "Winter Wonderland."

Jenny says, "The snow in the background of the lamp creates a nice effect against the ice in the background. It also brings the lamp to the center as the focus through the direction of the lines of snow."

Viewer Brian Curee from Loveland, Ohio submitted this portrait as one of three white tiger pictures taken with his Kodak Z740 camera.

His accompanying note states: "Here are some photos attached that I took at the zoo. These pictures contain the white tiger. I am not a professional photographer, but I love taking pictures! I am hoping to someday do it for a living."

"The Zoo is the Cincinnati Zoo," says Brian. "I plan on going back this summer to hopefully catch some more amazing pictures,"

"Anyone for water polo?"

Brenda Hammond from Canada's west coast emailed us this unusual picture of a raccoon in her son's wading pool. You have to ask yourself, "What is that raccoon thinking?"

A dozen humorous thoughts come to mind when you see a picture like this. The little fellow is probably wondering if the basketball is maybe a very large fruit or nut that can be opened and eaten, but we prefer to guess that he's considering a career in the NRBA (National Raccoons' Basketball Association), and is about to make a clean hoop shot to prove his qualifications.

Brenda Hammond also took this panoramic picture of Long Beach on Canada's west coast.

There are actually four beaches that make up the Long Beach Unit, as it is known - Radar Beach, Long Beach, Combers Beach, and Wickaninnish Beach. They stretch some 15.5 miles. They are mainly flat and sandy, and the surfing is pretty good most of the year. For more information, visit Long Beach.
