I went in thinking HDR when I was setting up for the composition. The clouds were just brilliant that day. I first imported to Photomatix and it just didn't give me the feel I was looking for. I then imported to Lightroom for basic color, contrast, and clarity adjustments then imported to CS5. Once there, I imported to Sliver Efex Pro 2 and saw that the Infrared Pre-set looked pretty good. I then amplified the whites a little bit more and blacks, added a slight vignette, imported to CS5, added an canvas extension for the frame, back into Silver Efex and finished off the frame, back into CS5 for some selective high pass sharpening and added a slight saturation to the sky and that was it.

Thanks for commenting everyone.

I am usually not a fan of the infrared but this is very crisp and it is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Please tell me there is a sepia tone to it or else there is no help for my monitor

Thanks Chance. I guess there is some sepia in it. Although, I didn't add specific sepia filter to it. I really amplified the white and black tones and then saturated the sky some more after I found out the way it was shaping up to be.

Kevin, I must be blind, I don't see an Infrared preset in Silver Efex pro 2

You know what Victor, you're right. I must of started of used the one in Lightroom. I know I used Silver Efex for the frame and come to think of it, that's all I did in Silver Efex. One thing is for sure, once I was getting close to what I had I did use a hue and saturation layer to enhance the color in the sky, Sorry to have misled anyone.

I'm getting ready to travel back to Ohio to my hometown today. My Uncle passed away so I'll be back next with a better frame of mind.
