This photo I took in my hometown a couple of days ago. I knew full well I was going to convert this to bw even though it looks great in color. I enhanced the red and yellow channels and darkened the green and in some cases burned the greens slightly and edges of the frame.
I warmed it up slightly with almost a yellow and tobacco filter. I used a high pass sharpening on the rocks and then slightly sharpened the foliage.

Very nice Kevin. I think the smoothness of the water compliments the sharpness of the rocks. Very calming picture

A stunning image, I love the tranquility in it! I think i'll need to pay more attention to the way I edit my own photos.
