Got a wedding tomorrow way out in the middle of nowhere, right on the edge of a river prone to flooding.... and we've got a cracking storm on today and tomorrow. My local river was nearly up to the banks, I've not seen it that high for years.
How tomorrow will go is anybodies guess.

Well it was grim, to be honest we had a job just getting to the wedding, roads properly flooded, a tree to be cut and removed off the road, and it hammered down with rain all the night before, hence the river levels and flooding.
I spoke to a number of people in Newcastle Emlyn and one just made it out of the house, she came down to find her dog swimming around the kitchen.
We took a different road back as the one we'd gone down on was closed.
Got about half way back but had a heck of a job getting past another big river that had burst it's banks.
It was looking like we'd have to stay the night there, but after a few calls we found a way around to a bridge that was still above water. After that it was easy enough.
Luckly enough the wedding venue was about 50 foot above the river level.

OUCH! The images are grim indeed.
