We had a wedding booked for late next year (one of the models we use) and I been told that the wedding is being brought forward to early January as the groom to be is dying from very aggressive cancer.(we are not even sure he's going to make Jan)
This is going to be hard, we know the bride to be very well and the groom is a nice chap too, they are a lovely couple with a few young children.
The bride to be is a smashing young woman, one of those bright bubbly girls, she lights up a room when she walks into it.
I just feel so sad that theres nothing we can really do to help them. We've sorted out the wedding for them (more or less) got a priest and special licence, a wedding breakfast isn't going to happen he's too ill to leave hospital. It's just a month or so ago I was at a funeral of another friend sitting chatting with them, he was fine then.
It's going to hard to do this wedding, not the tech side, just dealing with two friends and seeing them suffering.

Update

Sadly the gentleman concerned has passed away, now the January (moved forward) wedding plans have turned into funeral plans.
