This is a shoulder mount. I bought it and I like it, but..... I lost the short piece of shutter release cable between the "trigger" and the camera. $50 they want for a replacement. This is just gouging as they figure they've got you over a barrel. Something to consider before buying from them. I'll just use a regular cable and they can get stuffed.

Ouch! Victor... it is bad when you have a piece of equipment you like and then have to spend above and beyond for a simple replacement piece.

I thinks the replacement cost is too high. If your camera is under warranty period they should replace the shutter piece. If they do not replace they I would like to suggest you to buy a local shutter from market. It will be cheap for you.

Should there be a pic Victor?
If your camera will take an add on grip some of these come with an IR remote, failing that is there a third party maker of these releases you could buy from cheaper?
