The mother wanted something different. They freaked her family out a little. She loved them.I am banging on the box trying to get back in!

Chance, by far the first image. Very creative! Like the lighting. The babies arm could be alittle lighter. Maybe alittle too much processing.

I too am REALLY diggin the first image best! It looks almost mystical or surreal - VERY well done!

Personally, I like the first one even more than the traditional one! The first photo is just so unique and abstract. There's a softness to it. If you don't mind me asking, how did you achieve this effect? It has such a painterly quality to it! One tiny thing I might adjust is to change the color of the background just so the subject pops a bit more. That should be an easy adjustment with any photo editing software though. Of course, that's my personal taste and if you prefer monochromatic style photos by all means keep it this way!

Gosh this was taken so long ago. She has 3 more kids LOL. I honestly don't really remember what I did but I believe I used topaz software. Looking back it is a little over processed
