Does anyone know of a cool Photoshop tutorial for my needs? Id even settle for buying a digital frame or matting through a service if anyone knows of any.

I have an 11x17 frame I have 2 photos that I want to be able to fit into this frame in separate openings, but have the same backing/frame/matting. I can size the photos to any size I want. I want to find a tutorial (or as I mentioned a service who sells digital frames or matting) that shows me how to create realistic matting or frames. I was searching Google and didnt really find anything interesting. All of my photos are old black & white photos. So, I would need a frame that matched well with B&W. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Karen

It's not perfect, but it will give you an idea at least.

This is nice, but I need to have a frame or matting with 2 openings to insert 2 photos.
Thanks, Karen

You already have the 11x17 frame? You can have mats cut at large Joann Fabrics stores and some craft stores. Crafts 2000 near me cuts mats to any size and shape you need. Have you checked around at local art shops, craft shops, or frame shops?

If you wanted something easy and customizable, I think his stuff is pretty good, although I have primarily used it only for web purposes. You may also want to visit our own Kenny Mc's web site. A while back either he had a nice tutorial that I used or he kindly sent me one that I applied.

Good luck.

With so many options of picture frames available, it can be quite confusing that which one you should buy...There are poster frames, ornate frames, diploma frames, digital frames, frames with mats etc. You can even get a customized frame with multiple openings... The colors and sizes come in a vast variety. I found this great site..where you can choose the standard sizes, frame types, frame finishes , frame colors and your budget... Although, the frames can be bought at affordable price...I buy different types of frames to go with the color of the walls..I like changing the look and feel of the room...
