I'm courious if anybody still uses reflectors outdoors any more. At one time it was common to see them used but I haven't seen anyone use one in a few years.
The last time I used one was a model shoot a few years back for a class. Normally I don't even carry one in the car.
So is anyone using them????

There is a great number of photographers who continue to use reflectors on a regular basis. They are extremely helpful and contribute to making great photographs.
It takes a bit of trial and error to use them to their best effect, but that comes with time. I would say that I put them to use on almost every shoot.
As you know, there are a number of sections on photographytips.com that deal with reflectors.
For those with an interest, start at - surprise, surprise - "Reflectors" which you will find at https://www.photographytips.com/page.cfm/406.
All good wishes, Dan

What I didn't think of was those using them in studios. It seems many use the one flash and a reflector to "fill" the shadows.
We have a few differnt ones, my favorite is the big old lastolight, had it for years, but we've got a small one and one of those x4? colour ones with black, silver gold etc (cant remember what it's got all together)
Check out Dans link above for a lot more info.
