We've had some proper winter weather here with snow and ice.
I live in Wales UK near the bottom of the country and by the coast so we don't actually get much snow at all. Usually we get a dusting over night one or twice a year. This year we had some proper show, lasted about 3 days, although where I am the roads were still open and it was only a few inches at most.
I decided to go to the Brecon Beacons where they get proper deep snow, the raods were more or less ok, got a bit stuck once but got out ok without having to dig out or winch.
Heres a few pics from the walk.

Beautiful images. Are those the falls you can only reach during low tides?

No mate, those are on the side of a main road (Brecon to Merthyr)

This below is Cwm Mawr waterfall on the beach (not much water coming over it here) This you cant get to when the tides in and there is a risk of being cut off as it's cliffs if you get the tide wrong.

This one is Scwd Einon, this cant be reached if the river level is high, you have to walk up part of the river to reach it really, much too risky if the waters high, theres another falls below it and if you get swept away you might go over that one, it's not massive but high enough to be a bad day out. (people have died) To be honest this one is a real sod to get to.

I fancy wild camping here but I'm not sure theres enough room to set up a tent or tarp, I'm going to have to go back up and check one day.
