I did this falls a few years ago and it was hard work then and I went back recently, getting down to it is a total nightmare, short of walking down or up the river the only to get to it is down a cliff (more or less) if you think thats a pain wait till you have to get back up the cliff with about 40lb on your back, and I'm not getting any younger.
Trouble is my brain says I'm still as young and fit as I used to be when I did 20 mile runs and then walked another 6 miles in the evening for a pint of beer. My body on the other hand is saying don't be daft, you couldn't run for a bus.
Being honest coming back up was the hardest thing I've done in years, it was so tough I seriously considered biving down and spending the night about half way up (I had the kit for a night out, I always carry a sort of survival pack if I'm off in the woods etc)but I made it in the end.
Cant see me going back down again though.

Beautiful composition and colors. I have yet to capture a waterfall that well.

Champion images, mate. Do not worry about any age or condition. I cannot do what I would like to do either.

It's in a place called Glyn Neath in south Wales UK. Theres a lot falls in the general area (within say 3 miles-ish), some are easy enough to get to with proper paths, two are a PITA to get to. This falls is down in a valley with no real easy way to get to it other than climb down and back up, it's doable without ropes but tricky. The second PITA falls is a walk up a river for a mile or two, again no way to get to it except either going up the river itself or crossing it about 5 or 6 times, this means it a no-go if the river level is high (get swept away and your going over the lower fals, not funny)safe enough in low water though. Well worth the walk and wet feet though.
If you want more details/locations let me know, both the PITA falls would be tricky to find if you don't know exactly where they are (this one I found by accident worrking my way down river a few years back)
