This tiny frog, which Renzo calls "Velenosa," is a member of the poison-dart "dendrobatide" frog family. It is found in Ecuador. Frogs in this family display bright red and orange skin coloration, which serves as a warning to other creatures. Animals just seem to know that, for their own good, they should avoid creatures having such distinct "warning" coloration.
