This butterfly stopped to rest on a sweater lying on a deck chair, and we just happened to have a camera handy.
Here is where such beautiful patterns are found. Patterns in the wings of butterflies and moths make interesting and beautiful close-up photographs. Unless the insect is very large, you will need a macro lens to get a sharp picture.
The pattern was cropped from the right wing of the butterfly, and then enlarged.
