Named after Pierre Leveque, a French hydrographer who sailed on the Geographe in 1803, Western Australia's Cape Leveque is situated at the north end of the world's largest pearling ground. It is well-known for its superb fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling. The coastal terrain is comprised of red cliffs and pristine, white sand beaches.
