BNSF 4392

BNSF 4392 westbound about three miles east of Seligman, Arizona, on June 1, 2001. Used a 300 mm f/4 lens on Pentax LX camera. No filter. Bogen tripod. Shot @ 1/500 sec, f/8 - f/5.6. Time: 3:27 p.m. Standing on a small hill about 15-feet above track level in order to shoot over the front of the train and capture the rest of it in the distance. The wavy effect seen above the engines is caused by heat vapors. Film is Fujichrome Sensia II. Copyright Len Kratz 2001.
