Santa Fe 3751

Santa Fe 3751 east stopped at Needles, California for fuel and water on August 30, 1992. Restored "Northern" class locomotive is heading-up the Santa Fe Employees Recognition Special traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago. Camera was a Pentax K2 on a tripod. Time exposure probably at f/5.6. Lens was probably a 50 mm f/1.4. The individual popping the flashbulbs is unknown. Time is approximately 11:30 p.m. Temperature was very warm. Film is Kodachrome 64.
