Here is one I did the other day to an older picture I had. I am going to print out your instructions and try them as long as they will work with elements 8. The print on the black is really hard to read. Anyway I have no idea how I got these results since it was a few steps. Please critique and tell me how to do better.

Chance I'm still trying to tweak my B&W skills. It's funny how things seem to work backward now. In the past you had to learn B&W before you did anything else. I think sometimes I really missed something.
I love the movement displayed by the water capture and the anticipation in the young lady's eyes. Tonality looks good, but again I am still learning too.

This image has a full range of tones and doesn't need anything doing to it. You can of course tweak it to get different looks/styles but this one stands well as it is...

The background is not black on my site it's #333333. I've attached smple of the difference, if it appears all black I feel your monitor needs adjusting...

I agree with the others Chance. Great job of capturing the water and the mood.

Thanks all. I really thought her eyes had no life in them but then what to do so I just left it alone. I will have to check my monitor. It looks like white letters on a black background.
