I heard yesterday a bride drowned while having photos taken in Canada. It sounds like they were shooting the trash the dress shots at a river when the bride slipped and fell in, dragged down by the weight of the dress she sadly drowned.
Very tragic, but something all wedding photographers should keep in mind when shooting at "risky" locations.
