trick for phantom model clothing photography?

Does anyone have an idea HOW you take a photo of clothing that doesn't use the "laying flat method" or "mannequin method?" Floating clothing and here another floating piece - what did these people do in order to get this effect??? I desperately want to know

Well for body armour it's quite easy, most will stand up on their own anyway, but for other clothing some use wire frames, or photograph the clothes on a model and mask out the person, then photograph the inside of the back and add in post process.
