I was just curious... I have been working on some motivational posters for my classroom and was wondering if the background colors might be wrong for this one.

I feel a simple white background would work better, with the texy in Red for 'mouth shut' and maybe mid green for 'engage brain... This is just my personal opinion, as I feel the they are a little cofrontational/aggresive as they are...

Thanks Kenny! I was thinking they might be a little confrontational as well, but this was my first go with the colors. I was thinking about the psychology of colors etc. I want communicate without over communicating.

No. use light color. It will help to lighten up your message. Also keep in mind the lighting arrangement. Do not use too glossy paper. Theme should match the background color. DO not use black or white.
