I had some family come visit today and I decided I would show them around a few of my favorite places.

This one was taken on a family tour of the "Laurel Caverns" of the Laurel Highland Mountains of Western Pennsylvania.

The root of the tree I'm shooting through at Cole Run Falls looks so mystical. No photograph can do this tree justice.

This is the last one. When I came upon the fallen tree I couldn't help but notice even though the tree lost it's battle to survive, new life takes root and breaths in fresh air.

Every photo I left the EXIF intact. Just right click on the photo and either click properties or exif info if you need too.

Thanks for looking.

Someone mentioned to me it reminds him of a scene you would expect to see in "Harry Potter." I really wanted a little more in focus depth wise but without a tripod I had to use a high ISO, a wide aperture, and a slow shutter speed of 1/50s, the lowest I dared go hand holding the camera.

Thanks for the nice comments though Chance. You can tag along with me anytime. Cheers.
