Farther Christmas was working away at the top of a ladder in his store room sorting all the presents on the top shelf ready for loading his slay, when a knock on the door startles him. He slips, twists his ankle badly as it slips through the rung of the ladder. This hurts so much that it can no longer hold his weight. He falls off the ladder and upon landing fractures a few ribs and splits his head open. He crawls along the floor in agony and covered in blood when he hears the knocking again. He raises himself on his good leg and opens the door to find the Christmas fairy delivering the Christmas tree. The fairy says I've brought the Christmas tree Santa where would you like me to put it?

His reply is why the fairy sits on the top of the tree.

TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
On the first day of Christmas my true love said to me
Im glad we bought fresh turkey and a proper Christmas tree.
On the second day of Christmas, much laughter could be heard,
as we tucked into our turkey, a most delicious bird.
On the third day of Christmas, we entertained the people next door,
The turkey tasted as good as it did the day before.
On the fourth day of Christmas, relations came to stay; poor gran is looking old,
We finished up the Christmas pud and had the turkey cold.
On the fifth day of Christmas the snowflakes flurried,
But we were nice and warm inside because we had the turkey curried.
On the sixth day of Christmas, I must admit the Christmas spirit died,
The children fought and bickered, we had the turkey fried.
On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love she did wince,
When she sat down at the table she was offered turkey mince.
On the eighth day of Christmas, nerves were frayed; the dog ran for shelter,
I served turkey pancakes with a glass of Alka Seltzer.
On the ninth day of Christmas our cat left home, by lunch time dad was blotto,
He said he had to have a drink to face the turkey risotto.
On the tenth day of Christmas, all our booze had gone, except our lemonade brew,
As if that wasnt bad enough, we suffered turkey stew.
On the eleventh day of Christmas, the Christmas tree was moulting,
The mince pies were as hard as rocks and the turkey was revolting.
On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love had a smile upon her lips,
The guests had gone the turkey too, and we dined on fish and chips.

Seasons Greetings...

Kenny you didn't mention anything about not being able to find batteries for your strobe or lens fogging up!

Have a wonderful Holiday!

Good to see you here Larry, and I'm glad it made you chuckle Alice. Steve, as always, the stalwart of the forum whithout whom the forum would undoubtably close.

Seasons greatings to you all, along with Cathy, Ness, Wayne, Kevin, George, and all the others that are too numerous to mention but thought about especially at this time of year...
