hello. im new to shooting swimming. had the first meet last week. i knew to expect bad lighting (indoor pool)! but once it got a little later in the day the lighting was terrible!!!and the score board lights are red and glare off the water! any tips!!!! use flash or just bump ISO. also, what settings as far as f stop would you try

My vote is to bump the ISO. Depending on the venue you're shooting, you may have flash restrictions. I've shot high school swimming and diving a couple times but it has been a while. If I remember correctly, flash was not allowed at all for diving. For swimming, flash was not allowed at the start but was allowed once the swimmers were in the water. So, rather than fiddling around turning the flash off and on, I bumped the ISO and forgot about the flash.

Check with the venue to see what their rules/restrictions about flash are.
