These roses were dead but still quite photogenic with an artistic texture

Jeannette, I like your roses but they seem a bit flat. I took the liberty of playing with it as follows: In PhotoShop CS3 Color Balance I moved the cyan-red slider right to +9; the magenta-green to +28 and the yellow-blue to +7 and clicked OK. Then in Hue/Saturation - Red I moved the saturation slider to +20; OK. I think it looks more vibrant but that's just my opinion.
If you want I'll take down the photo from the forum site. I've already deleted it from my hard drive. Keep on shooting

Hmmm, I really don't see much of a difference. It looks to me that my version has more contrast (which I prefer). Thanks for the input, and no I don't mind when someone plays with my photos. I like to see what other people come up with. Have a good evening
