I'm just wondering what people have tried and what has worked for you.
I am a big believer of word or mouth advertising but of course that takes time and a great reputation.
Do you focus on the Internet, traditional advertising methods, something else...?

The internet is fine for showing your clients what you can do... provided they know you exist in the first place. Trying to find a local service is not too usefull in my experience using the net.
I found my shop/studio window or word of mouth produced the best results, but no help if your just starting up.
A feature in the local paper my help, and some people have their vehicle lettered up, although theres devided opinion about how safe that is.
