While at Reelfoot Lake we went on a tour and were shown this Osprey nest. An adult is on the left and there are two fledglings.

Cranky - I was very happy! I have a series of them including the adult flying a distraction pattern where it dragged its feet in the water. I was, however, concerned about the one fledgling that kept giving me the evil eye!

I'd crop that first one so you just have the one looking under that branch. A good crop on that one would be stellar.

E - something like this one... it is at a different angle. I have not had a chance try to PS the branch off its beak.

Nope, sorry. I just like the way he's dropped his head down to see and is staring straight into the camera. It gives it a "get outa' my beak sucker and I ain't messin' around. NOW!" look.
